i dont really have the time to sit down and reflect on what i did or share things that have happened for the past few months.

With such hectic and packed schedules, facebk is prob a much more convenient way to keep track of whats gg on with my friends...HAHA...

haven been updating my blog for 2 months!....lost touch on it hahha...but nevertheless back....

to share joy of holidays haha...

phew...it hadnt been easy at all surviving thro- this sem, balancing work with all kinds of activities. hardly have quality time spend with friends.but at least theres a long break in bet. before the next sem...

that helps a lot...giving me some breadthing space..flying off to japan soon =)) cant wait to go there...its kanna my lifetime dream..but (it not cheap at all n i will prob spend quite some bit) i really gottta save up when im back haha..

enjoyment first...haha...先甜后苦...totally gg against what we were thought in sch hahha...some enjoyment along the course of wk sld be justifiable la..haha...its a way to replenish energy for a new start indeed....

i'm so glad that Deafinition 2009 was a successful one..we had spent so long planning and preparing for it...special thanks to beloved shihui and everyone in farrago..it was'nt as easy time for everyone...

xia's event is coming up ( the annual SPARKZS 2009!) jiayou roomie! i will be there with u!

although recess is filled with work, nevertheless, at least i have a breather away from school >> back to my comfortable hut.=)

just started sem 2 for abt a week...it's back to studies again haha...i hope to do much better this sem.haha
still busing with farrago's 'signation' proposal..hope it would turn out well; to pay off everyones' effort.

the programmers of timon nbs camp were trying out the games last thurs...had some fun although it seems to be pretty eerie in ntu at night....

meet a bunch of hongkong exchange student for lunch last friday through deli apprecio club.i had an enjoyable time as the students are really friendly and there isnt much language barrier bet. us.we shared some differences in our lifestyles and schooling activities during the short lunch. It's sad that we didnt have much more time for interaction as they had other progs..but
It's glad to hear that they really love the durian rolls in 'emicakes' ! hahaa...

after that i had some shopping with melissa and yuanjing at bugis street and bought quite some stuff haha..

subsequently yuans need to go brasbasah complex to get clown noses for cheer-leading..we only got there aft more that half an hr of tough finding..only to realise that it's located jus behind the national library...feel so dumb..hahha...im so lousy at naviagating ard haha..cant stand it..

im looking forward for chi new year!get to visit my relatives whom i dont often get the chance to c them...and some time to get away from sch work i guess...=)

we all took a free drink from starbucks even though we are pretty full after eating two large yogurts from yoguru...it's nice man..

Boom!back from hall 9 investiture.

haven been blogging for some time ah.it just shows how busy i am.buried with projects and work..

i haven been catching out with friends living outside the isolated NeTherUnited land haha.

heys my nus classmates and choir mate hope ya all are still finding enjoyment in uni although it gets stressful at times.prob gotta wait till the holidays to meet up. =(

hey peeps out there!a real teddy bear reminded me that i haven been bloging hhaa..
there's too many activities gg on for the past two wks..it's probably worth at least a month of bed time stories!

I'm actually feeling pretty homesick in the hostel.

wanna make fun of my mum but she's not by my side.

wanna ask my dad to 'da bao' fish and chips for me but he's not here.

wanna snatch the tv controller from my bro but there isnt a tv and there isn't him around.=(

when my crispy prawn is not around in 898, i do feel lonely.

but i'm getting use to all this 100 times faster than i expected.all thanks to my fellow virgilians from the hall camp, nbs foc camp and the seniors for their guidance,humours and accompliment for my first wk of school.it ease the loneliness to a large extend...they packed my days with so much activities that i dont even have time to get emo about not being with my family.haha.

hey 2206ppl i know i'm quite famous for being a nagger who tells grandma stories all the time..but pls spare a few min?for me to share the experience that i had in my hall 9 camp being a virgilian..haha..it's hard to consolidate my thought for the 5days hall9 camp. I believe picture speaks more than any amount of words?yea.

I got a receipt after paying for the hall camp.I'm pretty surprised to receive it.haha.but number 055 sounds good!

Honestly, I was feeling quite shugged even before gg for the camp due to some reasons but i took some estasy along the way.about 3 per day to wake me up?so i was in a rather 'zi high' condition throughout.haha. I did lots of crazy stuff and met situations that i have never encounter in my whole life!I have never imagine myself meeting so many' embarrassing moments' n do wonder y I actually have the guts to do some ...

but I guess it's the magical potion that spears me... it's neither the weather nor the food... it's the laughter and smiles n support from virgilians that triggers me to hold the nike's slogan in my heart wherever i go..haha

At this moment at this instances, happiness do seems to surround our group wherever we go and whatever we do..

virgilians are so spontaneous, so cracky..I'm lov'in it.it's kinda an addiction.

This is probably my short overview of the hall9 camp.i can't possibly describe all the feelings that were gg through my mind.i really need all of u to experience this yourself!the sense of belonging of being a niner, a virgilian and a cabbage..

Today, i have the sudden urge to blog about eason chan the legendary chi singer whose music has continuously impressed and influenced me through my teenage years.i guess it's more suitable for me to start off with chinese...

I'm back from taipei.=)
It's the first time I'm gg on a free and easy tour.
I'm really pleased that we went to almost all the places that we planned in our itinerary.
Everything went well with the help that we get from many locals.(except the weather which was horribly destructrive, it's pouring almost everyday!)
My parents were pretty impressed that i managed to tour ard taipei without them or any guides. (They just didnt realised that i was capable of that.haha..)

Honestly, taipei is pretty easy to navigate with their established mrt lines and there isn't much of a language barrier as they converse in chinese.These made it pretty suitable to embark on a free and easy tour. However, lots of preparation is needed before you step into a foreign land.

First, u gotta have a guide book consisting of the mrt lines and tourist attractions in taipei.
Second, do the necessary planning of yr own itinerary .
Thirdly,consult those who have gone to taipei recently to get equip with the essential information u need to know about their way of living.
Lastly, brush up yr chinese if they are'nt good enough.
and off to 台北.... .... ... ..

If i gotta blog abt all the the places i went.it wld prob take me 10 posts? haha

Basically, from what I've seen, taipei is a pretty mountainous region (getting a magnificant view of the whole taipei from the 89th floor of 台北 101) with a beautiful blend of modernisation and numerous historical sites left behind from the war times...it's pretty appraisable to see that the city is not totally invaded by westernisation or globalisation as i would expect.

I love the night markets in taipei..esp. the 士林夜市. It's a shoppers' paradise perfected with the unique 小吃s of taipei.It's a perfect hang out for owls as their operating hours are extended to 2am on fridays and saturdays...

For others who are specifically hunting for cheap and fashionable clothes, u must not give 五分埔 a miss.It's a wholesale centre where clothes are distributed to potential buyers..
I got myself many set of new clothes from there..haha..It's hard to get those from singapore with such low prices.They have designs and varieties way better than those that u c in bugis street.It's really cool!I get to stock up my clothes for uni.it's really worth it.hehe..

BUt guess what..i fell on my butt down the stairs to 西门町捷运 on my 2nd last day .it's the lack of grip of my slippers on slippery floors and my clumsiness that lead to the fall.lol..the pain was unbearable.i cld'nt sit with my full butt in the cabit.I went to the toilet to examine my butt shortly after...
It's fortunate that i didnt hurt my backbone but a slab of my meat is gone.it's scary haha...thanks for hsin mei's zambuk.it eases the pain a little...I'm pretty pessimistic abt my butt, it wld take at least take a month to recover..

so i slept..for abt half the movie ba.the cineplex was filled with the children laughters throughout the movie..esp. when Po gets two bowls on his chest..(as expected haha)

i'm glad we end it well and this kinda marks the end of wat we promised to give..

Went for a movie with se today.it's a award winning dutch movie.hrm..it's a nice movie if u are liberal enough?the plot is based on a true story in holland during the WW2..it's pretty nicely filmed but the rating is crap..it's not suppose to be M18..i felt pretty scared watching it..

as u all know today's father's day!i went out with my maternal family for a dinner at 渔村 located in the seafood centre at ecp.

I believed many have been there before ba.It's the stretch of restauurants known for their crabssss.The restaurants there are of centain standard so it doesnt really matter where u choose to eat in the end.In this case, u can probably wish to check out the prices and discounts that are applicable to u to get the best prices =) as good food comes with a price to pay.

My favourites are their chilli crabs with fried 馒头 and their butter (milk)crabs, they're irresistable!Every single table orders at least a dish consisting of crab.(the crab is playing such an important role to all)

Our first outing..

I didnt expect our first outing to be 4 days after our camp?PETRELLI! it seems that we miss each other a lot!haha..jus joking..since most of us are not wking, we went just to chill out and perhaps know each other better =)

First, we went to the mindscafe at clarkquay for some excitement and gaming. It spend us some time to figure out it's exact location..
The place was filled with laughter like nobody's business..
We were kinda surprised initially but soon blended in with them perfectly..

I've realised that I'm pretty bad at the coodination games..kinda pulled down my teammate performance as I'm pretty slow at reacting.(as everyone knows)
but when it's comes to pictionary and word guessing I'm much better in it..
but my favourite is still strategic games..

I sld give some commendation to their services...
the waiter that served us was really outspoken and entertaining...I have a great impression of him..he speaks like the 'someone' in my class!haha

anyway there were several jokes of the day.someone called PS as SP,invented a new shopping mall called the Great Wall city and etc..I sld'nt elaborate more haha..It's pretty relieved to realise that it's not always me who made these silly mistakes haha..

went on for my very first pepper lunch @ central..and proceed watching Kungfu Panda at PS.
I can't stop laughing while watching...
师傅: Po(panda) must be an accident.
乌龟master: there's no accident.

乌龟master consoled Po when he was feeling remorseful: ytd is a history, tmr is a mystery and today....it's a GiFT! that's y it's called present.

it's mainly the expressions and action of Po that made us burst into laughter..a nice fuse of chinese culture and element into disney production..
like some has said.it kinda reminded us of Mulan..

last but not least.I LOVE the Theme song...Everybody loves Kunfu fighting..HEE! HAA!(fighting sounds)...

A last minute decision to go for high-tea buffet at pp sakae.
we ordered quite alot though we were'nt sure if we were able to finish it..

these were just some of the starters we had...

they gave me extra handrolls which i didnt order..
the beancurd that I ordered ended up to be accompanied with the udon.it was such a big bowl of udon! obviously i didnt finish it..

I put it aside and continued drinking my miso soup and eating the steaming hot chawamushi.I ate at least 5 to 6 plate of sushi cum fried foods...I was pretty much full to the brim after that...haha..
After reaching the max.capacity that my stomach cld 'accomodate', the Mochi icecream were not as appealing and satisfying as it does...(I guess nothing tastes good with a full stomach..)haha...

such a waste to have eaten it with a full stomach!

We were told that the fruits were out of stock. it's sounds pretty unconvincing to us though as each bento set in the ala carte menu comes with a fruit!the kitchen sld by right or at least stock up their fruit supplies for 2 to 3 days of the restaurant comsumption?it's sound really ridiculous for sakae to go out of fruits...lol

Subsequently, I went to MP library to check if 'The alchemist' is available for borrowing.Apparently it's not availabe at any libraries yet.
However,surprisingly, the malay version are available in the bedok library.

I sld'nt elaborate the details for the camp...
but i'm really grateful to make a new bunch of friends from petrelli.
thanks all who had helped me in one way or another during the course of the camp.esp. my bgl and facilitators.
I've pretty much developed a sense of belonging to 'the blue hall' but I had to constantly remind myself that theres abosolutely no way I could stay there.

as the fact is I'm not gg to study in nus.

it's a complicated feeling that none wld ever wish to experience...haha

told a few gals during the camp that i'm not staying in nus as I was feeling really guilty..

I was pretty surprised to realise that don's is heading to the same uni and course as I am after the 'confession' during our supper on the 2nd night.(so it adds up to 2 of us)I didnt really know wat to say.I was pretty short of words.stuttered at a few instances...

nevertheless I received the best wishes from my fellow campmates and I'm sure we wld celebrate our camp anniversaries jus like what the previous batch of camp blue blooder have done. =)..

although we arent the most enthu bluebloodgrp in terms of cheering or games if we do compare to the others.haha.but we have indeed foster the strongest bonds and friendships among Petrellians.just in 3 days. that's more then enough.

the winner of the camp was so insignificant that it wasnt annoounced at the end?...(at least I didnt hear it and no grps did cheer abt it)

so the ultimate aim of the camp was achieved...(highlighted in blue)

hrm im not exactly sure wat the place is called...but they are known for their biggest bottle tree park in singapore.it doesnt literally means bottle hanging on trees.haha

but rather it's just a species known as Brachychiton Rupestris which are native to south-west Queensland in Australia.and there's 4 of them house in the bottle tree village.

we were there to catch really small fishes and prawns from two separate ponds which adds up to the size of a basketball court.(it's pretty small to what i thought it would be.lol.)...so, as me and cx didnt pay for the small fish tank and the mini fish net.we didnt do much fishing..

guess what we did?

cleaning, poking satay sticks through live prawns...err it's something that im doing for the first time and would not prob wish to do it again if i have the choice to..lol

i must say that the prawns have strong wills to keep themselves alive!they are fighting hard,struggling to keep themselves away from their predator(us)...but they failed..

However, due to their strong fighting spirit, i was sacrifised.got a few cut from them and i was really pissed!with prawns for the first time.

I felt really cruel putting them on a heater.but its a life cycle.prawn eats poo.human eats prawn..so its fine rite?since it's just a natural cycle it makes me feel less guilty abt it.haha.

so they were all laid on the dining table.the prawn looked really big.but they shrank significantly aft i peeled off the shell.sad.tini wini prawns!me and cx had a hard time,peeling the shells of all the prawns.nowadays children are pretty spoilt.most of them have never peeled a prawn before.haha.

had some well-deserved prawns aft all the mess and work.they were chewy and crunchy!so much nicer than the bread pls..

thats all abt the excursion in brief.

i've been really troubled abt the kr camp tmr.it's really lame to go for their camp when im not even gonna stay in their hostel, not even in nus!haven packed my stuff.haven checked if i've got everything.not looking forward to it.wondering if i will even enjoy it.i doubt anyone who's in ntu would actually go for the camp tmr.but it's a consolation that at least yj is gg..oh my goodness! i dont feel excited at all...what is this!...so nonsense..

'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho was the first novel that I picked up shortly after strolling into PPborders. the short intro at the back of the novel catches my interest and curiosity.. it was the first ever fiction book that i have an urge to read on...
Carrying it in my arms, i went looking for a seat instinctively...

Ytd, went cathay with yufan and rachel to catch 'Indiana Jones'!didnt watch any of the previous three episodes..haha..and as usual i noe nuts abt the cast..as compared to the pro yufan.
Harrison Ford..he look so 'man'haha

Although i kinda slept halfway through the movie, i do have lots of opinions on this!

some parts are kinda of unrealistic.I'm sure its gonna received quite a lot of criticism being the 4th episode!

Things I Learnt After Wathing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom....

1.Alien skulls and skeletons are made of magnetized crystal .

2.The faster way to chase a car is by swinging from the branches of trees.

3.There is a place to live in /a universe known as space between space.

4.To test a nuclear blast, the US army must set a town so detailed that every house will have fake models watching TVs, fridges full of foods, cars, residents doing gardening,decorations..etc.

5. A fridge is made of lead, so that one can hide in there to avoid nuclear exposure and be saved from a nuclear blast.

6. Hamsters can survived a nuclear blast and monkeys survived after being thrown off the cliff.

7.The huge waterfalls has absolutely no danger.it's like a roller coaster.full of excitment.3times in a row.and none seems to be injured.

8.I can survive in a fridge that is being thrown up high into the air and crashed into the hard grd with the acceleration of gravity.with perfect conciousness....

9.The1950s are pretty mordernised.

theres lots of such scenes...waiting for u to discover...haha

perhaps these are so called the 'X' factors that are added just for laughs...make it seem like a cartoon haha...

however looking at another point of view,it's a 'fantasy' and 'adventurous' movie..think the animations and thrills are nicely done..but in terms of the plot it didnt really live up to my anticipation..its just what i expected haha...

bad guys chasing the good guys..the good guys eventually survived and the bad guys were killed.
I do want a happy ending.but there should be at least sparks and surprises in between to make it a better one..

to all it's still pretty fine as a weekend blockbuster to kill time...and it's still a classic.jones never seem to be 'old' ...impressed by his kicks and punches...

perhaps a 3 out of 5.I've seem movies which are way worst!haha.
as one who have only watch the 4thepisode,it's not to the extend that u classified it as bad..

yufan gonna choose yr course wisely!jus take our opinions as considerations.its k if u still wanna go with it. we will go for kbox soon...=)

This was what i wanted to blog earlier.before i was overwhelmed by my driving thingy!..

It was abt 0300 aft parting with flor.me and zinc went to catch some sleep at tcc's sofa.haha.This was my first time to tcc at T3(zinc's wkplace).They have cooling sofas similar to those at NewYork NewYork...^^

I was pretty surprised to see several sofas being occupied by those wking night shift in T3.(they dont even have a proper place to rest in.).. only had a short nap cos my feets were shivering in cold.same goes to zinc.haha.

took the first bus back to our sweet homes. =)

Oh my..and at last..finally got my blogskin,tagboard and music.it sld be pretty 'chicken feet' for ya all ah. IT- savvys!but...I took more than a day to figure out the formatting and htmls!...had a valuable lesson on computing today..know how it works now.yeah.

shucks.i forgotten that i've got driving today!i forgot to cancel it.oh my gosh..i wasted my money.oh my.cant believe that i actually forget..wahh.shucks.

i slept immediately after reaching home at 7am.woke up only at 1pm.jus realised that i've made booking for driving ..whao how stupid can i get.i'm gonna feel really bad for a few hours....its overwhelming.not gonna tell dad abt it.ahh y!the instructer waited for two hours?!?!..damn.

woke up at 7am today?..to reach centre at 930am for the snowcity outing..its pretty fun chatting with kids along the way...
the way they speak really makes me laugh!I had to speak like 'a kid' to communicate with them- so that we are of the same 'frequency' -haha.
the mrt ride was abt 1hr?..i hate to travel far man.it makes me feel lethargic.almost wanted to close my eyes conveniently...
its gonna be an even longer trip if im gg to ntu! why are unis situated in the west?..build one in the east pls!..long distance rides really freaks me..cant tahan it..

hey..this is like my first time to snow city?..i feel like some 'sua gu'...theres a large number of kids who actually been there more then once.these kids are really fortunate man..
i was having so much fun in there.although it was freezing cold and my mucus was dripping.it didnt really matter ")

gg for the 'snow slide' was the highlight..
i tried the lying down posture down the 'snow hill'..it was simply 'shoik'..heard from the p5s that there was actually other ways to do the slide??lol..i gonna try them on my next trip!hopefully from the sponsorship of 'the person' who says that she can get in free of charge!

jus kidding...will pay for myself if im gg again...

played 'ice breaker' for awhile with the gals when we got back to the centre ")..i rushed off as the church van gave me and cx a lift, back to the mrt!..saved a bus ride^^.

ha and thats not the end of the day..when to chill out at mindcafe's ladies night with my fellow cool friends..its really fun playing the coolest ever boardgames.more impt with my grp of cool buddies..its jus wont be enjoyable without them.

i was practically laughing my lungs out while playing..i was so 'high'..
the games were interactive,foods were delicious and my buddies were funky!
thats wat it takes for a cool outing :>

i controlled myself really well and didnt get any of them..cos they are really EX..

We took photos with the sunglasses in esprit.it looks pretty funny!haha.

Speaking about gg into uni, im actually pretty excited to get back to sch..its time to start my rusty engine.haha..but the courses are really expensive even after it is subsidised.im seeing 5digits in my sch fee per semester.hopefully it wont be that much of a financial burden for my parents...

Had been suffering from migraine since last Friday. It's the worst one I've ever experience in my whole life. It's a periodical numb coming from my left brain. I've been lying on my bed most of the time today. I dreamt about my aunt and stuff...felt as if I would jus leave anytime. woo haven been blogging for a long time.I've been really tired lately,almost forgotten the existence of my blog!
...to and fro for my driving lessons,work at studentcare and tuitions.my whole body starts to ache pretty often n sometimes it get pretty unbearable.

So I've made a decision late week, officially ending my sc wk tmr and only gg back during the school holis to help out with the outings.")

I will prob miss the noises of the kids and remember the names and faces of all.haha.the aunties n the colleagues.thanks for all who have helped me in one way or another during this period of time ").

I've really learnt alot from the teachers and children at the studentcare. (in many ways). dealing with children 是一门很深奥的学问.really 一种米能养百种人, everyone has their unique character. gonna deal with each individuals differently.
try to listen and understand them more often.

so finally I'm getting a well deserved break for myself.prob hang out more often in the library,my aunt's gym and my sweet home. I will get to catch a more decent sleep daily which i have been simply deprived of for this few months. ...gonna 养精蓄锐　before chiong ing into uni! I'm really excited to get back school!

It's time to consolidate all my thoughts and make a major decision in my life.

i have pretty good impression of all the unis.its hard for me to choose one among them.im pretty interested in a few degrees,namely mathematics, accountancy, actuarial science and finance.
i will have a hard time deciding on one.
I have some intention to take a double degree..the acct n busi ddegree that ntu offers looks really attractive to me.i will prob give it a try.although im not sure if i will be able to cope with it.

i could have jolly well done at abt 2pgs in one hrs but obviously i didnt...i tried to slp early..but but hrm i tend to stroll ard the hse, watch some tv with my mum before i finally get on my bed...perhaps i jus didnt want the next day to arrived so fast....

At 430pm, boss came to my table n say '我明天不会来...'...woo i was damn happy at that moment...but this 'shoik'ness didnt last long...apparently 我高兴的太早了...she passed me two big piles of wk saying...'这些明天拿去做'..haha...the work she gave me earlier was 15pgs long...if i were to be super hardwking...i will prob finish half of it the most..so it's seriously unlikely i will even touch the new pile of stuff...if only i can be a 'superwoman' like　曹格.

hrm maybe it's jus myself la...i get v grumpy abt all this...woo at least tmr my mp3 is officially in use... :) today i scribbled wonderfullly on my datas...(the results of 'sleepwriting') haha...curvy wavy liness drawn unknowingly...

went pasar malam ytd with mummy aft feeling so so bored at home...the atmosphere was pretty high n crowded...there was actually a 歌台going on.(its not only during the ghost festival!)..Ah Nan was actually hosting the pfm..he hasnt appear on tv for a pretty long ever since his drug scandal..
there was a big 财神爷 statue over there...my mummy was busy catching those glittering papers that are dropping...(like a 3 year old kid ah?) haha...i suppose she desparately wanted the 财 to come...haha...
she saw some aunties picking pieces of paper with 4 numbers from the floor...and being such a kiasu mum...she followed them...the first piece she picked was '0404'..
she said 'this kind of number wont come out one la'...i was so embarrassed...ppl ard us were starring at her ..
so she went on picking.. '40 64' was next...she asked me to rmb it for her...obviously she buying it for 4D!haha...
i was actually imagining a scenario...so how will she react if the 头奖是0404...she will probably knock against the wall..
there was once i rmbed...2040 was coincidentally on her t-shirt n it came out for first prize,she moaned for more than a week..typically her...
had a yummy supper there...but i noe i noe they are all junk food haha...im eating pretty a lot this holidays haha...as cny is approaching...i warning myself now to stop eating like a pig...if not all my relatives will probably say..'aiyo ah hui 你好像又胖了啊!'...i wont wan that to happen haha...

prawn,yee pig,big eye n floor...we had a cool chill out at marina square earlier..to be honest im not someone who likes to go gatherings.i often enjoy staying at home or go gaigai with parents during the weekends ..but going out with my cool choirmates are really different..feel so happy and cheered despite feeling v v tired aft weeks of wk..which is draining me off n making me feeling so feeble.;(

had our dinner at　御宝拉面 its pretty nice i mus say...sumptuous dinner.thanks for big eye's intro.went on for some window shopping and laughs all the way for our diff taste for accessories..'this look so stupid','this where got in!''u must be crazy to like this!'...

越夜越疯狂..maybe not for all..but definitely me..i started to feel v hyper n 'mad' after eating dinner...n this stupid prawn... keep thinking we are going to play hide and side with her when i walked away?!...haha...(in fact we wanted to find a corner to finish up a cool card for her)...i really burst into laughter as prawn pull me back.stopping me from finding a'hiding place'..

we were having great fun taking photos...courtesy of big eye's camera..(its always her who brings it :))lol..i tried v hard to poss for photos but i really cmi pls...but it was real fun...planning to take more photos the next time.

went on to share a hokkiado ice cream with prawn...so yummy but the cone is soso not nice..taste jus like plastic.prefer scoopz or gelato at parkway..
